– The last time these two teams met was Dec. 2, 2011 in the first ever Pac-12 Championship game. Oregon won the game 49-31.

– UCLA leads the series 39-26, including a 12-6 mark at Autzen Stadium, but the Ducks have won four straight and nine of the last 11 meeting between the two sides. UCLA hasn’t beaten Oregon since 2004.

– Oregon QB Marcus Mariota has attempted a Pac-12 record 265 passes without an interception, including all 197 attempts this season. His last INT came the last time ESPN”S College Gameday came to Eugene (Nov. 17th) against Stanford.

– Oregon Running back De’Anthony Thomas is expected to return in this game after missing the last four contests with an ankle injury suffered against Cal. In his absence, backup Byron Marshall has totaled 550 yards and 7 touchdowns. Marshall has rushed for 100-plus yards in all four PAc-12 games this season.

– In last week’s loss to Stanford, UCLA QB Brett Hundley was held to a season-low 192 yards passing, while being sacked 4 times.

– The Bruins are expected to start three freshmen on the offensive line, a line, which has allowed 14 sacks this season.

– The Bruin’s defense allows it’s opponents to convert just 29% of third-downs (Best in the Pac-12 and 9th in the nation).

– Key Matchup: UCLA Star linebacker Anthony Barr (11 TFL) against Oregon left-tackle Tyler Johnstone.

– Vegas odds have the Bruins as 23-point underdogs.
