Playing in monsoon-like conditions, Oregon had no trouble dismissing Cal in its Pac-12 opener 55-16 Saturday at Autzen Stadium. The Ducks and Bears combined to fumble the ball 10 total times, including eight in the first quarter alone.

Bralon Addison starred for Oregon with two punt returns for touchdowns, tying Cliff Harris’ school record set in 2010. The only real negative on the night for Oregon occurred on the first play of the game, when De’Anthony Thomas was hit hard on a kickoff return and was forced to leave the game with an ankle injury.

For more on the weather conditions, Addison’s performance and Thomas’ health, Preston Hiefield has the story from Autzen Stadium.
