The Oregon acrobatics team continues to gain national attention for their skill and growing importance in the NCAA. Once again, the National Acrobatics and Tumbling Association has ranked Oregon as the number one team in the nation. Bu the national championships aren’t the only place the girls are turning heads. Time Magazine recently featured the team to discuss the importance of Title IX for women’s sports. Title IX is an amendment to emphasize equal opportunities across the university, especially in the athletics department. Acrobatics in the NCAA is growing in popularity, proving to not just be a sideline activity.
