“What the Duck,” one of Duck TV’s comedy segments, kicked off filming last week, running from one campus apartment to the next and dodging cars in busy alleyways to compile a hilarious first episode.

At points the comedy spilled over even when the cameras weren’t rolling–above you can see a woman stepping onto set to shamelessly snap a photo of a shirtless cast member. Below, producer Virginia Rice discusses one of the scenes.

And by the way–welcome to the first post of the Behind-the-Scenes blog! As is evidenced by the occasionally shaky camerawork, some bumps are still being smoothed out… but it’s all part of a learning process, right?
