Oregon’s Liz Brenner Dominates as Multi-Sport Athlete
Oregon’s super athlete Liz Brenner is everywhere. As the university’s first female multi-sport athlete since 1973, Brenner made it to the championship game with the volleyball team earlier this year, played women’s basketball this season and also just qualified for the NCAA Track and Field Championships in the javelin.
Brenner was also nominated for Sports Illustrated’s athlete of the year award this past month and although she didn’t win the overall award, she did win the fan vote.
