The 6-0, 227 pound prospect impressed many scouting services with his performance at Nike’s “The Opening” in Beaverton, OR in June. He has drawn comparisons to former Oregon standout Jonathan Stewart, who was selected 13th overall in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Carolina Panthers. Freeman rushed for 2,482 yards and 34 touchdowns this past year as a junior.

With his commitment, Oregon has now landed a 5 star running back in four out of its past five recruiting classes (Thomas Tyner, De’Anthony Thomas, Lache Seastrunk).
