Colorado Defeats Oregon 48-47, Breaking Ducks 20 Game Home Winning Streak

DuckTV Sports’ Sarah Scrivens reports on Oregon’s loss to Colorado 48-47 Thursday night. That loss broke the Ducks 20 game home winning streak, the sixth longest in the nation. With the loss, the Ducks also dropped out of the lead in the Pac-12.

Oregon shot 28.6 percent from the field and Oregon Head Coach Dana Altman said that was the difference in the game.

Oregon falls to 18-5 on the season and will take on 10-12 Utah Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena.

#16 Oregon Defeats Washington State 68-61, Improves To 17-2

DuckTV’s Samantha Saldivar highlights the Oregon’s 68-61 win over the Washington State Cougars. With the win the Ducks improved to 17-2 on the season and keep the lead in the Pac-12 standings.

The Ducks were down 10 at half to the Cougars, but played lock down defense in the second half, limited WSU to 27 percent from the field. E.J. Singler lead the Ducks with 19 points.

The Ducks upped their home winning streak to 19 games and are currently riding an 8 game winning streak. The Pac-12 leading Ducks take on the Washington Huskies Saturday at Matthew Knight Arena.

Oregon Basketball Takes Down 4th Ranked Arizona 70-66

The Oregon Men’s Basketball team picked up their biggest win in recent history by defeating the previously undefeated Arizona Wildcats 70-66. Coming into the game ranked fourth, Arizona was the highest ranked team to ever play against the Ducks in Matthew Knight Arena’s three-year history.

In a game where the lead changed 7 times, Oregon senior forward E.J. Singler described the game as a landmark victory and the biggest win in his Oregon career.

The Ducks will take on the 13-2 Arizona State Sun Devils Sunday 6 p.m. at Matthew Knight Arena.
