Duck TV is the University of Oregon Student Television Network.
It Consists of 7 segments: news, sports, host and 4 comedic/dramatic segments.
130 students are involved from nearly every department, including biology.
While Duck TV is officially part of the school of journalism we collaborate with 11 different departments (English, Cinema Studies, Digital Arts, Photography, Creative Writing, School of Music and Dance, Computer Science, Journalism, Humanities and Theater.)
New positions this year are the motion graphics, special effects, composers, orchestra, PR and program coordinator.
All original music by master composers
Learning environment: we accept a mix of highly experienced students and those with no experience looking to learn.
Students are unpaid but can receive J 406 credit.
We take new students every term
We air 6 episodes a term.
Our faculty advisor is Rebecca Force, who is a video production professor in the Journalism school.
