Not only do these prices affect students who commute to the University of Oregon, it also has an impact on Memorial Day weekend travel. Amtrak and Greyhound ticket prices will likely be rising soon to help compensate for this rise in prices. While a shortage of gasoline has raised the prices, it is expected that costs will begin to decline in the near future.
